Collection consists of administrative files, photographs, artwork, publications, and awards & certificates. In addition, it includes a the full run of the publication California Journal in print and microfilm.

Abstract

The Costa G. Couvaras papers (1913-1987) consist of biographical materials, correspondence, photos, newspaper and magazine articles pertaining to Costa Couvaras. In particular, it contains materials relating to his involvement in the OSS Mission Pericles, which took place in Greece during 1944-1945. It also includes information regarding the book in which Couvaras wrote about the mission.

Abstract The Collection consists of documents, diaries, letters, books, calendars, newspapers, photographs, artifacts and audiovisual media pertaining to Kikuyo Morimoto Nakatani, a Japanese-born woman who lived in Isleton, CA. During World War II, her family was incarcerated in the Minidoka and Tule Lake War Relocation Centers. Abstract Joye Harold Severaid specialized in mammology and the natural history of the Sacramento area.
