Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries contains student papers collected by Vicki Hall from the students in her Women's Studies classes. There are various topics covered including mother-daughter relationships, women's history, divorce, menstruation, motherhood, depression, racism, domestic violence, spirtuality, religion, and women in art, etc. Papers are arranged by class number and then alphabetically. 2014-2022

According to Professor Hall, she has “been intensely involved for more than thirty five years with oral histories uncovered by [her] students interviewing and analyzing the lives of their mothers and other female relatives. A selection of these are now available in Library Archives and will… "convince anyone who reads enough of them that truth is often stranger than fiction and women are incredibly strong.”
