Description
Brush Dance portrait (7 of 9) depicting female wearing bead and dentalia shell jewelry, geometric basket hat, and deerskin leather dance skirt with decoration. Brush Dance ceremonies were held for the purpose of healing a sick child. The roof of the plank house was removed and members of the tribe would dance all night. Humboldt County, California.
